Accidental Pirate

Have been getting nagged about updating ST so finally went through and updated, and now am getting nagged about needing to upgrade my licence. I was happy before, is there a way to downgrade back to the latest version my license allows? And then maybe some way to disable the nag about updating (at least unless I have a license that supports the upgrade?).

Following a recommended update and inadvertently becoming a pirate feels bad btw, you should disable this path. If you need to nag, nag about upgrading my license so I can update, don’t ask to update first.

You can disable updates in the settings if you have a valid ST license or by simply blocking it with your firewall. Yes, you can downgrade to St3. Just look for the installer or package.

You don’t become a pirate by evaluating our software. Our whole business model is built around being able to fully evaluate our software without owning a license. Feel free to use ST4 for as long as you need to evaluate whether an upgrade is worth purchasing.
