I’m pretty sure that the “Report” button works and does prompt moderators for action. Whenever I report a longer standing spam post (that probably has been missed in the last round), it’s usually deleted a few hours later.

Reports do indeed work. I keep an eye on them personally, but it can take me a couple of hours to see them depending on how often I’m able to check the forum.

the link is in the “profile” just next to the post. I’ve seen many people spamming the same way, they copy some portion of an old message and add the link somewhere in the signature or profile information,
