4107: Double-clicking any associated file spawns a bunch of errors

#1

Video of it occurring: https://ultradeluxxe.com/demo/sublime-errors.mp4

If I drag and drop a file into the latest ST it opens as expected.

However, any ST associated file that I double-click on spawns an array of errors.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change. Any ideas?

It looks like the double click version is executing a different version of Sublime Text (the theme is different, for example, and looks to be broken due to some missing textures). Do you perhaps still have ST3 installed?

I had originally installed ST4, expecting it to upgrade the existing installation, upon finding out that it didn’t, I went and uninstalled ST3 via Win-add/remove programs. The error still occurred.

I then look at my program files /dir and saw that the ST3 directory was still there (after uninstall?). I manually deleted the folder, and then re-defined all of the needed file associations directly to teh new .exe.

So far it is working now.
