2147 - PHP file opened in hex mode

#1

I’m running dev build 2147, and when opening certain PHP files from Transmit or downloading through Transmit and opening locally, it looks like they are treated as binary - showing hexadecimal. Going back to 2146 for now

Files should only be opened in hex if they contain a null byte. Can you confirm if this is the case, and which encoding the files should be loaded up as?

Sorry, I don’t know either of those pieces of information.

I can send you a sample file if that would help though.

That would be excellent - support@sublimetext.com

This has been fixed now, thanks Jon! The files did contain null bytes, possibly from Transmit Disk.

I am using build 3033 and also experienced this issue. I am also using Transmit disk as mentioned, what is the fix? Is there something I can change in the Transmit/ST3 settings to prevent this from occuring?
