0-indexed columns?

After programming with 0-indexed arrays my whole life, having column indexing start at one instead of zero in ST kind of fries my brain. (It would seem more natural to me that when the caret is at “column i”, I am about to type a character that goes in slot [i] of my line, viewed as an array.)

This is a minor issue, but was wondering if this is customizable…

you’re referring to the status bar? I believe this is currently not customizable - one can write a plugin to show custom text there - including line and column info indexed however you like - but it seems not possible to remove the default line/column text
