Will there be a version of ST4 for Windows 32bit?

#1

Currently I use ST3 on Windows 7 32bit. Is it possible for me to go on ST4 in the nearest future?

As far as I’m aware, 32 bit support has been dropped for ST4.

I have some legacy software to maintain in a Windows 32bit environment.

Is there a way to turn off the dialog that asks me if I want to download the new version each time I open ST3? It fails of course.

If you have a license, you can add this to your user preferences:

"update_check": false,

That will turn off the automatic check for a new version; it’s only available to licensed users though, as SublimeHQ doesn’t want people that are evaluating Sublime to use older versions to do so.

I also asked this question and I got answer. Here is the link of that post.

In second message you’ll find the link.

However if someone has a 32bit machine they have no choice…

True; though one imagines that if you’re stuck with a 32 bit operating system at this point in time, you probably have technical issues of a more general nature that exceed being able to use Sublime Text 4… :wink:
