Touchpad scrolling fast

I am using a Lenovo Ideapad 330 81g2 model laptop. When I scrolling text on sublime text 3 it scrolls too fast. i.e it goes to the end on a single scroll. Please help me to find a solution to this issue.

Which OS are you using? Which version of Sublime Text? Does the same happen in other software?

Hi there, I solved the same problem with the help of the post. I have Lenovo Ideapad with ELAN touchpad driver (Windows 10).

In case above link is unavailable, here is solution:

  1. Open regedit.exe using run
  2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> SOFTWARE -> Elantech -> Smartpad
  3. Change ScrollControl_Mode from 0 to 1
