Syntax PHP

Hi, in the direction view-> syntax (where all the languages ​​that read sublime appear), before PHP appeared, but I have not found it for 1 week and when I save a file with the extension .php sublime it does not detect the language … I would like Know what happened and how to correct it.

Hi @cesidio! Welcome to this forum!

Have you created a PHP folder in Packages? Rename/remove it, and it should work.

Here’s why: a package defines called PHP defines the syntax for php (it’s a .sublime-syntax in ST3). But, if you create a folder in the Packages directory, then it means that you want to override it, and ST won’t load the default one.

you may want to check your user preferences, to see if PHP somehow ended up in ignored_packages
