Wonderful! I’m trying to use X as my main editor now, but missing the middle button column select is the thing I miss most right now.

Also, shift-right-click does not work on OS X, though it does on Windows. (I’m using the latest beta, 20101230)

alt-click-drag lets you do column select on OSX, if that’s what you’re after. With just a mouse though, the middle button is definitely needed.
