Sublime Text title bar in OS X

#1

Somehow I managed to change the title bar text in SublimeText to a line in a file I once edited weeks ago. So for example, it shows “current file name – Line from old file”. How do I fix that so that it goes back to…well, whatever it’s supposed to be?

I believe it’s normally: filename.ext – Base Folder Name In Sidebar.

But… I’ve no idea what file could actually change that

Were you digging around in the Sublime Text.app/Contents folders ?

I think you’re right about the right side being the folder name. No I wasn’t in the ST3 app contents, but that reminds me of what this folder was: the base path to app contents to a different app.

I noticed it when I created a new file after re-opening ST3, so I’ve gone off and tried to replicate the behavior but can’t. And somehow over night, the weeks-long quirk is gone.

I’ll keep an eye out for this, and if I can ever recreate it, I’ll post the steps.

Thanks for your response!

I am having a similar problem in Ubuntu with Sublime Text 3. Somehow the name of the application has changed to
untitled - Sublime Text (UNREGISTERED)

This label appears in the leftmost column of sublime’s menu (to the left of ‘File’)
as well as in the ‘open with’ menu when I right click on a text document.

And I did purchase and register it. And the about dialog confirms that I have an active license!
