Does it notice the change after restarting ST?
Sublime text 3 does not refresh files correctly!

Yes, then it works.
Is there a way I can coerce sublime (maybe from the console) to reload this file?

File > Revert File is for manually reloading a file. I’d also suggest trying newer builds of ST, there have been one or two fixes related to file watching since 4126.

This works but now I need to do it manually all the time - sublime never refreshes this file automatically.
Just noticed it happened to some other file that was externally modified by a formatting tool.
PS: I checked for updates and there a new ones but require a license update ;/
