In a default install, Sublime Merge has no syntax highlighting for Swift files. I was informed (via a HN comment) that installing a Swift language bundle for Sublime Text will fix this, except I don’t use Sublime Text (don’t even have it installed) so I can’t do that.
Given the popularity of Swift, I’m really surprised Sublime Merge can’t syntax highlight it by default. But barring that, how can I enable Swift syntax highlighting in Sublime Merge without going through Sublime Text? I don’t want to rely on an editor I never use to keep a language bundle up-to-date for Sublime Merge.
