Sublime Merge crashing on Big Sur

I just set up a new laptop, MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) running Big Sur, and installed Sublime Merge. The app worked fine until I rebooted, and now after a brief moment Sublime Merge crashes with no error message. What info can I provide for more debugging?

Something similar along these lines. I downloaded, unzipped, and tried to run Merge only to see the attached error.

@sparkyjones, what happens if you unzip it using Archive Utility?

Problem solved. I haven’t come across this before, interesting. Thank you for the quick response, I look forward to using Sublime Merge.
