Sublime build 3126 takes 8 min to save an empty new file

I’m not sure if this is a problem of the build 3126 or the Mac OS Sierra update.

On the first 30 seconds I would kill the process. Try revert back to your last build, and see if the problem persists.

Please try reverting to a clean state (saving your data folder) and see if the problem persists.

Reverting to build 3124 solved the problem. Reverting to clean state didn’t.
