I’ve basically had to stop using Sublime due to excessive CPU usage. Essentially, the usage is so high that my MacBook heats up, the fan is running at 100% and despite having a charger connected, the battery is draining at about 1% per minute (i.e., faster than using any other app without the charger connected).
What makes this even more difficult to pin down is that I have deleted all packages, cleared the Cache and Index directories, and I’ve checked that the Indexing status says “Idle”, and this still happens. I really don’t know what else I can do to prevent Sublime from killing my computer, or how to find out the cause. What information can I provide to debug this?
Computer: MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014)
OS: macOS Sierra 10.12 (this also happened in Capitan)
Sublime version: Stable 3126
