Since last update the main menu is no longer displayed

Since the last update (Build 4107, Windows 10 OS) my main menu is gone and there seems no way to bring it back.
Bringing the menu up with the Alt key under “view” there is no option to toggle or display the main menu.
I tried deleting the session file, but that didn’t change anything.
How can I fix this?
