Shortcut to open the same file in two windows

It’s pretty common to have the same fie in two windows, to compare/copy different parts of the file

Right now to do that you have to:

alt+shift+2 (vertical windows) or alt+shift+8 (horizontal windows)
file - new view into file
ctrl+shift+2 to move the recently opened file to the new windows

is there some way do all this with a single keyboard shortcut?

Origami will get you close… You have one shortcut to make a new pane; a second shortcut to duplicate the file into it.

Or you could create a macro, maybe? I never use macros, though, so I don’t know if they can do that.
