Reload a sublime-syntax without re-start Sublime

#1

Hi,

I’m making a .sublime-syntax and every time a change the file I have to close and re-start Sublime to see the changed syntax.
Is there a way to have the syntax change every time I save the .sublime-syntax file?

Many thanks,
Dan

You shouldn’t have to restart ST…

when saving it (in one of the Package folders), you should see

generating syntax summary

in the ST console, and any open tabs using that syntax will have their scopes refreshed

Are you perhaps using symlinks in ST’s folder structure?

@kingkeith unfortunately it doesn’t happen for me. There must be a reason.

@FichteFoll Some packages are indeed symlinked from somewhere else into my packages folder . Do you think is that causing the problem?
