2024.03.23 - Currently, Sublime Text does not support displaying recent files on the Windows taskbar or pinning frequently used files.
It is surprising to observe that such a beneficial feature is not included in the application developersā project list, even after several years since 2016. There is no solution or forecast for its development yet.
As a result, I have resorted to using Notepad++ solely because it allows me to access recent files through the applicationās taskbar menu.
Simply setting the app as the default for TXT files does not suffice for it to display recent files in the taskbar.
