Python program wont run user input

I’m new to python and I just started learning about how to implement user input but when I try to run my program the program stops at the line where the user is supposed to enter something for it to continue. I type something in and press enter but the program doesn’t run right after. I hope this is a good explanation of my problem. Does sublime text not work with python for user input code?

Running Python on sublime console

Hello! I discovered how to put python to run on console of sublime text 3. but it doesnt run after input. for example: i wrote: n=input('Input a number: ') print n i run this and it asks for number. i put 100 for example, i hit enter and nothing happens. what am i doing wrong?
