Plugin unauthorized update

#1

I’ve settted up "update_check": false! Why the fuk SideBarEnhancements still updates??? What should I do to disable plugins auto update?

The update_check setting controls whether or not Sublime looks for updates for itself, it has no bearing on anything else.

From the looks of your image, it would appear that Package Control is the thing that is upgrading your packages for you.

As a result, a quick check in the settings for Package Control seems to indicate that you can either set auto_upgrade to false to stop it from automatically upgrading every package, or you can add specific packages to the auto_upgrade_ignore setting to only stop automatic upgrades from existing packages.

Thanx! Looks like this "auto_upgrade_ignore": ["SideBarEnhancements"] works like a charm!

Nope… it updates anyways even when i’ve set "auto_upgrade": false.
Looks like bug to me :expressionless:

You can also just not use PackageControl at all and install your packages manually if your intention is to never have them update themselves.

I like PackageControl, I just don’t want it updates specific packages.
