For minihtml, Sublime is doing an amazing job of passing some color info from the color-scheme to the html popup so that the popup could be styled coherently with the rest of the view.
The exact same thing should be done for sublime-themes so that themes can adapt based on the current color scheme.
Things like changing the background of the sidebar, or search panels to a darker shade of the colorscheme’s background color.
Atom’s default “One Dark” and “One Light” themes are built this way. I also have an extremely hacky plugin that tries to fake this
