New to Sublime Text and Coding - Syntax Colouring

Hello,

Forgive me for such a crude quesiton but I am new to sublime text and was hoping someone can explain which settings or themes, or what I need to change to have differnet syntax or commands sowing up in different colours as per below: Ignore the code its justteh text colouring I am concerned with.

But all my text is one generic colour.

I have the following theme packages installed:

Predawn
Material Theme

How to get colorized text?

The color of the text is controlled primarily by the syntax of the file (the syntax decides what should be colored and the color scheme decides how it is colored), which generally is determined by the extension that the file has when you open it. Newly created files are assigned the Plain Text syntax by default, which changes to the appropriate syntax when you save the file for the first time. Also, if you’re working with React code in Sublime, you should use JS Custom. It extends the core JavaScript syntax with support for JSX and some other features.
