Navigation pane-like feature

#1

I tend to write long text in S2 but as wonderful as the minimap is I 'd love to be able to click on a more…tree-like navigation list, exactly like the Headings-bookmark navigation panel in Word 2010.

I’ve searched around but cannot find a way to do this; I’m not exactly adept at coding myself but a way to say type ##Trains, ##Planes, ##Automobiles to create a navigable word table-of-contents-like side list would be awesome.

Any ideas on how to implement this?

Check out Something like a tree or list of functions/blocks?

The Goto Symbol command (ctrl+r) could show whatever you want.

Look at the Markdown package file \Sublime Text 2\Packages\Markdown\Symbol List - Heading.tmPreferences
This file define which scope to show and how to show them for a Markdown file.

Good luck.
