My proxy settings doesn't work on ST3

I’ve recently installed sublime text 3 on my pc, since there is a corporate proxy where i work i had to manually install the package control. once I installed it I confured the http_proxy, https_proxy, proxy_username and proxy_password in the package control user settings as some posts suggest. Yet, when I enter in the command palette
Package Control: Install Package
the debug console throws the next error:
Package Control: Error downloading channel. HTTP error 407 downloading https://packagecontrol.io/channel_v3.json.
and shows the next message

What should I do since I haven’t found any apparent solution

Most likely related to Packagecontrol.io not working?

i’m not sure of what could be… is it common?
is there any other safe way to install packages cause i’ve tried to git clone some of them to the packages folder and it didn’t work well
