Is there any plugin to save/export as image?

#1

Hi there,

Does anyone know if there is such a plugin for SublimeText which would allow you to export the currently opened file view as an image (complete with syntax highlighting etc.) ?

You can use ExportHTML to get a HTML file, and then use a browser plugin like Nimbus Screenshot to save the whole webpage as an image.

Depending on what you need, alt+printscreen captures the active window. Fairly easy to save it or paste somwhere (at least in Windows). I can even paste it right into my post here.

Of course that would work, but only partially. Ideally, it should capture the entire file, not only the currently scrolled positioned.

Seems the export to HTML plugin is the only way to currently do this. I’d be willing to create this extension when I have a bit of free time.

I did not understand you wanted the whole file. My suggestion was more of a quick workaround anyway.
