Interface locking up, not responding & balloon spinning on Mac

#1

Starting about a week ago, Sublime text takes a long time (1+ minutes) to both open and close. While it is doing so, I get the spinning ball on my Mac, and in the Activity Monitor it shows sublime in red, not-responding, and using nearly 100% of the CPU.

I also notice that the GitGutter gem is not always working, since this started.

I am on MacOS Sierra 10.12; however, this started prior to me upgrading to Sierra. In fact, this behavior was the impetus for me upgrading to Sierra, hoping that would resolve the issue.

I am using Sublime Text 3, build 3126.

Here is a gist of what I see in the sublime console, after rebooting a moment ago.

Update: I just removed the three linter packages, and here is an updated gist of what I am seeing in the console. Still having the same issues.

Is anyone else having similar issues? How can I troubleshoot this? Thanks!

Technical support - can I get some help on this? Thanks

I’m experiencing similar issues. Running a fresh install 3126 on a brand new macbook pro retina (not touch bar) with OSX 10.12. I have an older macbook with el capitan with no issues.
Problems experienced:
-spinning wheel
-interface locks up for 3-5 seconds sporadically (especially when accessing after switching from another app)
UPDATE: upgraded to OS X 10.13 - same issues
