ST3 Plans? What happened to all the activity last year?

This is not supposed to be another "ST is dead" discussion! ST is great! I just thought it would be great to get a comment on current development activity or plans after all the activity last year. The last dev build is now from September 2016 and I thought there were plans for more regular updates. I know @wbond is active on the forum... Thanks!

We are still working on the next dev build.

There is much progress behind the scenes, I think. Have a look on the default packages as an example. All those many changes need time to be tested well to ensure to work properly for most (all) people.

Good software is not defined by a high update rate. ST3 does a very good job right now, so give the guys the time to prepare a stable well tested next built with a reasonable wow effect due to many new features which work well out of the box.
