How to join the SublimeText Organization on GitHub?

#1

Hi,

I would like to create a couple of Sublime Text packages, and have them appear under the SublimeText organization on GitHub. I followed the instructions at the top of the org page that says to “email your GitHub username to sublimetextorg@gmail.com when you have something to contribute”, but I have so far received no reply.

Does anybody know if this mailbox is monitored?

Thanks

I think @guillermooo manages the mailbox, but I really don’t know. If you tell me your github user name, I can add you.

What is the purpose of pushing releases on the ST organization vs on your own channel?

my reasoning was because it

a) feels more professional to have the organization name instead of your own name as the owner of the package
b) means that, for super small and simple packages like mine, the other organization members can get more involved more easily, reviewing issues or pull requests etc.
c) allows me to get more involved, seeing what other package devs are up to, how they are solving problems or interacting with the community etc. Technically this is possible without being a member but it makes it easier

Do you have anything to refer to regarding previous work with the Sublime Text package architecture (for example, a package)? I’m not adding just anyone; you have to prove being versed in the architecture before.
