"Goto Anything" symbols (@) visual bug

After updating ST3 from build 3083 to build 3103, when I attempt to view the symbols in a given source file, the results have odd symbols intermixed with the actual results, like so:

Has anyone seen anything like this before? I’d really like to avoid re-installing from scratch.

Please provide details such as the syntax being used and example code that causes it.

@Barracus I believe the *.tmPreferences file of whatever language you’re using has a wrong encoding.

@Barracus it sometimes happens when somebody uses wrong escape sequences which might work on one OS but not the others (which Sublime supports).
