Folder with chain icon can't be opened

Hi all,

On opening a new project, I have a strange ‘chain’ icon on a folder ‘assets’, which can be opened. The folder is on an smb share, permissions seem ok and equal to all other directories…

Any help appreciated

This indicates it is a “link” to a folder that has been seen before. Due to the way we build the catalog of files, we can’t re-enumerate duplicates since that can lead to an infinite list of files.

If you right-click on the folder, you should be able to Reveal Link Source to see the files where they are originally stored on disk.
