I can’t seem to find a solution to stop this particular search behavior, so I’ll post a new topic. When using CTL-F and entering search parameters, Sublime moves the cursor to the first match. After editing at that location, if I delete the search string the cursor then scrolls to the starting point prior to the search. This behavior is undesirable. How can I stop the cursor from moving back after deleting the search string?

You might want to take a look at incremental search (Ctrl+i), where you would use Enter to go to the new location and then start another search.
