Creating a new file in the file-manager

Hey there,

There is an inconsistency when creating a new file via the file-manager:

If I right-click on a folder and select new-file, an empty tab pops open, and I have to perform a second step to name the file and save.

If I right-click on a file and select new-file, an option pops up asking for the filename and I can immediately save.

Is this inconsistency a bug?

Are you by any change using SideBarEnhancements in ST4?

This package both works and does not work in ST4, depending on how you look at it; the issue is a problem with the package itself, though you can work around it. If you look in the side bar menu when you right click on a folder, you’ll see an item labeled New File (note that there is no ellipsis on it); that’s the item that’s native to Sublime.
