As a person who used TextMate 2 and adapted my own language grammars and syntax highlighting, I’m trying to get a little better use of Sublime for XML editing, cross-platform. The biggest issue for me right now it trying to get the coloring correct, for when I’m actually editing XML.
The themes like iPlastic that I used with TextMate would allow me to put the XML strings in bold red color, and all the tags in light underlined cyan. That helps me identify the text I need to change when editing snippets of XML.
However I can’t figure out what scopes to use for XML, or how to add them to my iPlastic cold theme. I just want to be able to address this so my XML coloring doesn’t hide the data in favor of emboldened tags.
