Build 3114 - very slow go to anywhere option (ctrl+p) on windows

Hi there,

Some time ago i bought licence for ST3 cause i was getting comfortable with this text editor. It worked just fine until an update was made (build 3103).

After that update, the files toggle option (ctrl+p on windows) was significant slower. I reinstalled ST3. Didn’t work. I clean installed the ST3 build 3114 and it didn’t work. I tried the suggestions on this forum to exclude some file types or to use less cores for that indexing but it didn’t work.

Everything works just fine just the file toggling doesn’t (ctrl+p). To give you an impression how slow it is: its quicker to use side bar to navigate throught project files.

Is there any way o solve this? Thanks

You likely having a plugin doing more work than it should. You can try a portable version, to verify that it’s fast with no plugins, or use Tools/Developer/Profile Plugins to see which plugins have been taking up time.
