[Bug] error loading meta info from

1. Problem

Today I can not open Sublime Text. I get hundreds of messages

2. Steps to reproduce

Yesterday I work with Sublime Text normally. Today I open Sublime Text and get this bug.

I don’t can open any file in Sublime Text, because I get and get popups.

3. Not helped

  1. I restart Windows → I reproduce the problem.

4. Do not offer

  1. Please do not offer reinstall Sublime Text. I have a few dozens pull requests. After reinstalling I will need change all my packages again.

5. Environment

Operating system and version:
Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 64-bit EN
Sublime Text:
Build 3126

The error messages those dialogs display tend to include the reason and location of a syntax error if there was some problem loading them, which points towards the files in question perhaps being missing or something (since it’s saying Unable to open).

However, I would assume that if the files were just missing entirely it wouldn’t be trying to open them at all because it wouldn’t know that they are even there in the first place.

I would check to make sure that the files that it’s talking about exist and are accessible to whatever user you’re running Sublime as in case it’s some sort of permissions problem or something.

When you uninstall Sublime Text, it doesn’t remove the Sublime Text 3 folder (so it doesn’t remove your packages). This is a bit weird and causes people to re-install ST because of a problem that originally came from a plugin (this is really often the case).

User gets this problem, if more than 320 installed packages. See #1629 issue.
