[Solved] [Ubuntu] Always opens the same file

#1

Hi!

I did a fresh install of Sublime Text on my (also freshly installed) Ubuntu system. I followed this tutorial from top to bottom, but now whenever I start Sublime it always opens the same text, “sublime.desktop”, instead of opening the previously used files.
Why is this? What should I do? It’s really annoying.

This guy had the same problem, but the suggested solution doesn’t work.

Thanks!

UPDATE: Seems like using sudo sublime in the Terminal makes the program run correctly, but running only sublime makes the program open the file last used by sudo sublime every time.

UPDATE #2: Seems like installing Sublime Text 3 through the Software Center (instead of a manual install with the tar ball) makes everything work as it should.
