Find all with supplied search value to hotkey

Is there are way I could have a find_in_files command bound to a hotkey, with a pre-supplied search value?

So I would hit the hotkey, and it would not open the search panel, but rather immediately execute the search.

If not, an alternate, and nearly as desirable solution, would be to have a hotkey open the find_in_files panel, but have already populated the search value.

Per the below forum post (and the stack overflow question mentioned within it), this is not currently possible (without the some form of plugin, possibly).

Send args to find_in_files panel

current key binding for find_in_files is: { "keys": "ctrl+shift+f"], "command": "show_panel", "args": {"panel": "find_in_files"} }, Request is to add params to show_panel to fill in the "where", "replace", "find" . For common replacements, we could tie to a key binding, or searching within a known directory (without having to pick it). like this: { "keys": "ctrl+shift+f"], "command": "show_panel", "args": {"panel": "find_in_files", "Where":} },
