Disable single autocompletion?

#1

Hi folks,

I’m a fan of autocompletion, but I use Vintage mode and Sublime has a very annoying tendency to insert boilerplate for while loops when I type “:w”, which I kind of do impulsively.

Is there a way to disable just this specific autocompletion (or, alternately, the whole class of boilerplate completions, as I find those kind of excessive)?

I apologize if this has been asked previously, but I could not find it online.

Thanks!

You can install the plugin VintageEx which then implements “:w” and many other commands for you.

Thanks for the response,

:w already works; Vintage mode is built into Sublime and already supports “:w”

My issue is that while “:w” often works, there is some context in which Sublime autocompletes “:w-enter” with while loop boilerplate. I will never use this autocompletion, and I find it annoying, but I’d like to disable it (or all boilerplate completions) without shutting off autocomplete altogether.
